Well according to our great legends only one out of the eight has been discovered and it’s none other than Om Parvat or Adi Kailash Trek. This mountain is located in the Dharchula district and stands tall at an elevation of 6191 m. You can very well understand the religious significance it plays. Also the trek the Adi Kailash resembles the famous Kailash mountain( hence name justified).

This mountain stands distinct to other Himalaya ranges because of its Om shape formed due to the deposition of snow on the black mountain. Now the journey to the Chota Kailash of India is a 12-day trek filled with adventure and close to Lord Shiva. The Adi Kailash Trek forms an important part in the Kailash trilogy too which consists of Kailash Mansarovar, Adi Kailash, and Kinnaur Kailash.

Our Hindu mythology also suggests this place as the abode of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganapati, and Kartik Swami. You can very well understand why this place is so famous and talked about. Also, the trek promises you scenic beauties, enchanting mountains, striking views, and the most unique opportunity to witness the Om Parvat.
